Divya Delhi : US President Donald Trump has said that a potential nuclear cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia is linked to the kingdom joining the Abraham Accords, the US-brokered agreements aimed at normalising relations between Israel and Arab countries. Trump said Saudi Arabia’s participation in the accords would be an important step toward broader Middle East cooperation. The statement comes as the United States continues discussions with Saudi Arabia over a possible civilian nuclear energy agreement. Saudi Arabia has expressed interest in developing nuclear power, while the US has sought guarantees on nuclear safeguards and regional security concerns.
