Divya Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced that the Union Cabinet has approved a strict anti-paper leak legislation, which will be introduced in Parliament next week. The proposed law aims to curb examination paper leaks, strengthen the integrity of recruitment and competitive examinations, and ensure strict punishment for those involved in such offences. The Prime Minister said the legislation is designed to protect the future of students and job aspirants by introducing tougher legal provisions against individuals and organised groups responsible for paper leaks. According to the government, the Bill seeks to enhance transparency, accountability, and public confidence in the examination system. The proposed legislation is expected to include stringent penalties, faster investigation mechanisms, and stronger safeguards to prevent future leaks.
