Divya Delhi : The Hockey India Junior Women Academy Championship got underway in Gwalior on Wednesday, with 12 academy teams from across the country competing for top honours in one of India’s premier grassroots hockey tournaments. Organised by Hockey India, the championship aims to provide a competitive platform for emerging women hockey players to showcase their talent and gain valuable match experience. The participating teams have been divided into pools and will compete in league-stage matches before advancing to the knockout rounds.
