Divya Delhi : Several Delhi Police personnel sustained injuries during violent clashes at a protest held at Jantar Mantar on Thursday. Senior police officials said the injured officers were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where their condition is reported to be stable. Special Commissioner of Police (Special CP) visited the hospital to meet the injured personnel and enquired about their health. He commended the officers for maintaining law and order under challenging circumstances and assured them of all necessary medical assistance. According to police, the protest turned violent after clashes broke out between demonstrators and security personnel, leading to injuries on both sides. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage and other evidence to identify those responsible for the violence. Security has been tightened around Jantar Mantar and nearby areas to prevent further disturbances, while authorities have appealed to the public to maintain peace and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
