Divya Delhi : India and Namibia have discussed the progress made in their bilateral partnership since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Namibia in 2025. Officials from both countries reviewed developments in areas of mutual interest and expressed commitment to further strengthening cooperation. During the discussions, both sides highlighted advancements in sectors including trade, investment, energy, education, skill development, defence cooperation, and technology. The meeting focused on assessing the outcomes of agreements and initiatives announced during the Prime Minister’s visit and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. India and Namibia share warm and historic relations, with cooperation extending across various fields. Indian officials emphasized the importance of continued engagement with Namibia as part of India’s broader partnership with African nations. The two countries also discussed ways to enhance people-to-people connections and promote sustainable development through joint initiatives.
