South Korea and Australia Agree to Expand Military Exchanges and Defence Cooperation

Divya Delhi : The top military officers of South Korea and Australia have agreed to strengthen defence cooperation by expanding military exchanges and enhancing collaboration on regional security issues. The commitment was made during high-level military talks aimed at reinforcing strategic ties between the two Indo-Pacific partners. During the meeting, the military leaders discussed the evolving security environment in the Indo-Pacific region and emphasized the importance of closer coordination to address shared challenges. They agreed to increase joint military exchanges, expand training programmes, and deepen cooperation in defence planning, operational coordination, and information sharing.
