Delhi Police Apprehends Illegal Bangladeshi National Disguised as Transgender.

Divya Delhi :The Foreigner Cell of the North-West District Police has apprehended a 24-year-old Bangladeshi national who was allegedly living illegally in Delhi by concealing his identity. The accused was intercepted during an early morning operation conducted on July 14 under the NS Mandi area, falling within the jurisdiction of Mahendra Park Police Station. Police officials stated that the accused had altered his appearance and allegedly disguised himself as a transgender person to avoid detection. During interrogation, he reportedly admitted to using this disguise while engaging in illegal activities at night. Investigators also found that he had undergone Gender-Affirming Surgery (GAS) and used wigs, makeup, sarees, and other feminine accessories to maintain the disguise. During the search, police recovered a smartphone containing a banned IMO application. Bangladeshi national identity documents stored in the phone’s gallery were also recovered, helping establish the accused’s identity. Following the investigation, the accused was produced before the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), where legal formalities were initiated. Delhi Police has started deportation proceedings in accordance with the prescribed legal procedure.
