Divya Delhi : Bengaluru-based IT major Infosys announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services, or AWS, to fast-track enterprise adoption of generative AI technologies. Under the partnership, Infosys will combine its AI-first platform Infosys Topaz with Amazon Q Developer, AWS’s generative AI-powered assistant, to transform internal operations and deliver advanced AI-driven solutions for global clients. The collaboration will impact key sectors including manufacturing, telecom, financial services, consumer goods, and sports and entertainment. Infosys said it is already leveraging Infosys Topaz across core functions such as software development, human resources, recruitment, sales, and vendor management. In the software development lifecycle, the integration with Amazon Q Developer will enable automated documentation, code generation, debugging, testing, and modernization of legacy systems — significantly improving efficiency and accuracy. The company is also using AWS’s generative AI services to create advanced customer engagement solutions. These include real-time, personalized digital experiences for sports and entertainment audiences worldwide, powered by Infosys Topaz and Amazon Bedrock. Commenting on the collaboration, Sandeep Dutta, President of AWS India and South Asia, said that Infosys is setting new benchmarks in enterprise transformation through large-scale adoption of generative AI. He added that the combined strengths of Amazon Q and Infosys Topaz will help organizations innovate faster, improve agility, and unlock greater value.
