Bihar Launches Smart Classrooms in 150 Government Schools, Announces Free JEE-NEET Coaching

Divya Delhi : Patna Bihar The Bihar government has launched a major education initiative by introducing smart classrooms in 150 government schools across the state and announcing free coaching for JEE and NEET aspirants studying in government institutions. The move aims to improve the quality of education and provide equal opportunities to students from economically weaker sections. The initiative was announced by the state government as part of its efforts to modernise classrooms through digital learning tools and strengthen competitive exam preparation for talented students. Smart classrooms will be equipped with advanced teaching technologies, interactive learning systems, and digital content to enhance classroom learning. Under the scheme, eligible students will receive free coaching for engineering and medical entrance examinations, helping them prepare for JEE and NEET without financial burden. The government believes the programme will bridge the education gap between urban and rural students and improve their chances of securing admission to premier institutions. Officials said the initiative reflects the state’s commitment to making quality education accessible, technology-driven, and inclusive while encouraging academic excellence among government school students.
