india–New Zealand Trade Deal to Strengthen Cooperation Across Key Sectors: Todd McClay

Divya Delhi : New Zealand Trade Minister Todd McClay has said that the proposed India–New Zealand trade agreement will significantly enhance bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including trade, investment, agriculture, education, technology, and services. Speaking about the ongoing negotiations, McClay highlighted that the agreement is expected to improve market access for businesses, reduce trade barriers, and create new opportunities for exporters and investors in both countries. He added that the trade deal would deepen economic ties, encourage innovation, and strengthen collaboration between industries. The minister also expressed confidence that the agreement would support sustainable economic growth, generate employment, and increase the flow of goods and services between India and New Zealand. Both countries have been working to expand their economic partnership through negotiations aimed at concluding a mutually beneficial trade pact. The proposed agreement is expected to boost bilateral trade, attract investment, and further strengthen the long-term strategic and economic relationship between the two nations.
