In view of the adverse weather conditions, Mumbai University also postponed scheduled examinations to ensure the safety of students and staff The intense rain led to waterlogging in several parts of the city, affecting road traffic and suburban train services. Civic authorities advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel as emergency teams remained on alert to tackle rain-related incidents
