Divya Delhi : July 6 An FIR has been registered after a dead lizard was allegedly found in the mid-day meal served at a government school in New Delhi. The incident raised serious concerns over food safety and hygiene standards under the school meal programme. According to officials, the contaminated food was detected before it could be consumed by all students. Authorities launched an investigation, and police registered a case to determine how the contamination occurred and whether there was negligence in food preparation or distribution. Further action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
