Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi Arrives in New Delhi on First Official Visit to India.

Divya Delhi: Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to India. She was received at the airport by Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh. This marks Takaichi’s first official visit to India since assuming office. During her visit, she will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and participate in the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit. The summit is expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, technology, defence, critical minerals, semiconductors, and regional security. Several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are also likely to be signed during the visit. The visit is being viewed as a significant step towards further deepening the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership and enhancing collaboration on key regional and global issues.
