Divya Delhi : U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran against disrupting oil shipments through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, vowing a strong military response if Tehran attempts to block the crucial global energy route. Trump claimed that U.S. forces have already inflicted significant damage on Iran’s military capabilities and expressed confidence that the conflict could end sooner than expected. In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) asserted that Tehran—not Washington—will determine when and how the war concludes. Iranian officials emphasized that any decision regarding the conflict’s end will be made based on Iran’s national interests and security considerations. The escalating rhetoric comes amid ongoing tensions over the Strait of Hormuz, a vital maritime corridor through which a significant portion of the world’s oil supply passes. Global markets continue to closely monitor developments, as any disruption in the waterway could have major consequences for international energy prices and regional stability.
