Amit Shah’s massive claim: ‘Out of 152 seats in Bengal 1st phase, BJP set to win ..

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday made a strong claim regarding the ongoing West Bengal Assembly elections, asserting that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised for a major victory after the first phase of polling. Addressing a press conference in Kolkata, Shah said that based on feedback received from party workers and ground reports, the BJP is likely to secure more than 110 seats out of the 152 constituencies that went to polls in the initial phase.

Highlighting the high voter turnout, Shah stated that it reflects a clear desire for political change among the people of West Bengal. He remarked that voters have chosen development and stability under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to Shah, the enthusiasm seen during polling indicates that the ruling Trinamool Congress, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, is facing strong anti-incumbency.

“The people of Bengal have decided their future in the very first phase. The mandate is clear—Didi is leaving, and BJP is coming to power,” Shah said confidently.

The first phase of polling witnessed significant participation across several districts, with reports of peaceful voting in most areas. Political analysts, however, caution that final results will depend on subsequent phases and overall voter trends.
