Is Raghav Chadha behind ED raid on Ashok Mittal

A fresh political controversy has erupted involving Raghav Chadha after questions were raised about a possible link between him and an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on Ashok Mittal. The allegations come amid escalating tensions between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Chadha, who was recently removed as the party’s deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha. AAP national spokesperson Anurag Dhanda publicly questioned whether Chadha had any role in the ED कार्रवाई, pointing to the timing of events. On the same day the ED conducted a raid on Mittal, Chadha was reportedly granted Z-plus security by the Centre. Dhanda suggested that the coincidence raises serious concerns and hinted at possible political motivations. Chadha’s camp, however, has maintained that his enhanced security cover was necessary after the Punjab government allegedly withdrew his earlier protection. The Centre’s decision to grant Z-plus security has added another layer to the ongoing dispute. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has previously described Chadha as “compromised,” further intensifying the political rift. Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa also criticized the move, calling the use of security measures for political purposes a “constitutional betrayal.” As accusations continue to fly, no official evidence has emerged linking Chadha to the ED raid, and the matter remains politically charged.
