Education Wing to Keep a Watch on Arbitrary Actions by Schools — Paramjit Singh Pamma

Paramjit Singh Pamma, National President of the National Akali Dal, has made a significant appointment with the objective of strengthening the organization. He has appointed Rhythm Chadha as the President of the Delhi State Unit of the National Akali Dal’s Education Wing. Present on this occasion were National Secretary Vikrant Mohan, Jasvir Singh Sarna, Delhi State President Kuldeep Singh Marwah, Secretary Balwinder Singh Sarna, National President of the Social Wing Rashmeet Kaur Bindra, and Bhavna Dhawan. Speaking on the occasion, Paramjit Singh Pamma stated that Rhythm Chadha has been actively working in the fields of education and social service for a long time. Her experience and dedication will play a pivotal role in bringing about positive changes in the education sector. He noted that Rhythm Chadha has also served as a Principal in private schools, giving her a deep understanding of the education system. He clarified that the objective of the National Akali Dal is not merely to engage in politics, but rather to connect children with education for a better future and to steer them away from negative activities such as online gaming. The organization is continuously working to raise awareness regarding education within society and to guide the youth in the right direction. Pamma stated that the primary objective of the Education Wing is to safeguard the rights of parents and students. If any school levies unreasonable fees or disregards regulations, the organization will escalate such matters to the relevant departments to ensure a resolution. Paramjit Singh Pamma remarked that the arbitrary conduct of many schools has escalated to such an extent that they hike fees at will and arbitrarily extract money from parents under the guise of expenses for books and uniforms. He asserted that, in light of this situation, the National Akali Dal’s Education Wing will keep a strict watch over these matters. He further added that, whenever necessary, the organization—in collaboration with parents—will raise its voice and lodge complaints with the concerned authorities to demand concrete action. Pamma issued a warning that if the arbitrary practices of schools do not cease, the organization will not hesitate to stage protests and demonstrations against such institutions to ensure that parents and students receive relief. Finally, Pamma stated that the Education Wing would also work towards enhancing transparency and improving the quality of the education system. Connecting children with quality education, a safe environment, and ethical values will be the organization’s priority. Pamma also stated that the National Akali Dal would soon announce the formation of other wings in the near future, which would further strengthen the organization. Expressing her gratitude to the national leadership for this responsibility, Rhythm Chadda affirmed that she would work with complete dedication and sincerity to excel in the field of education and to guide the youth in the right direction. She added that she would make special efforts to foster greater dialogue between parents and students and to resolve their concerns.
