The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has now released a summary of the first 10 days of Operation Epic Fury launched against Iran. A look at the military apparatus used so far in the US-Israel-Iran war. CENTCOM stated Operation Epic Fury was launched in Iran at 1:15am. It struck over 5,000 targets. The US has so far damaged or destroyed 50+ Iranian ships. “U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime’s security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat,” it said in a post on X. CENTCOM’s list of US military assets deployed in Operation Epic Fury: B-1 Bombers: Long-range supersonic strategic bomber designed to deliver large conventional payloads. B-2 Stealth Bombers: Stealth strategic bomber capable of penetrating advanced air defenses to strike high-value targets. B-52 Bombers: Long-range heavy bomber used for strategic bombing, close air support, and missile launches. LUCAS Drones: Low-cost unmanned aerial systems used for reconnaissance, surveillance, and tactical missions. Patriot Interceptor Missile Systems: Ground-based air defense system designed to intercept aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. THAAD Anti-Ballistic Missile Systems: Missile defense system that intercepts short- and medium-range ballistic missiles in their terminal phase. F-15 Fighter Jets: High-performance air superiority fighter designed to dominate enemy aircraft in combat. F-16 Fighter Jets: Multirole fighter aircraft used for air combat, ground attack, and tactical support.
