Divya Delhi : A successful and grand Kabaddi competition was held at the Najafgarh Stadium as part of the Khelo Delhi Mahakumbh 2025-26. This was the first day of the competition, with a total of 16 teams participating enthusiastically. Teams from the open and college categories displayed outstanding talent, strategy, and athletic skills. All matches were highly exciting and competitive. The players displayed discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship, thoroughly entertaining the spectators. Students from nearby schools cheered the players throughout the competition, creating an atmosphere of energy and enthusiasm throughout the stadium. Coaches and sports officials present guided the players and boosted their morale. The judges’ decisions were fair and accurate, ensuring the smooth conduct of the competition. A special moment in the college category today occurred when Jagdish Malhotra, President of the Delhi Football Association, was honored with a trophy and a memento. This was a proud moment for all participants and organizers.
