DIVYA DELHI : Rajkummar Rao addressed social media speculation about his recent hairstyle changes, clarifying that his look is part of physical transformations for his upcoming films, especially the biopic ‘Nikam’. Sharing an Instagram post, Rao explained he prefers natural transformations over prosthetics, and has gained weight, aged his appearance, and thinned his hairline for roles. He said, “My being is through my Art… Hopefully when you see the film, you will notice all that hard work.” The ‘Nikam’ biopic, directed by Avinash Arun and produced by Maddock Films, showcases the life of public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam and his major cases like the 1993 Bombay blasts and 2008 Mumbai train attacks. Rao is also preparing for the Sourav Ganguly biopic, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, set to begin shooting in early 2026.
